WELCOME MESSAGE
Hello and welcome my name is Marsha, I am the manager of the SENFSG. This charity was set up some 17 years ago to help all families with children with additional needs.
If you have got this far then you are well on your way to getting the support and the guidance that you require to help you in your quest for finding information and help to give your child a better education and a better future.
We work with lots of other agencies and charities so that we can pass on information and make it available for children and their families with additional needs.
Here at the Special Educational Family Support group. We aim to help all kinds of children and their families. We can contact other relevant organisations, attending meetings with statutory officers, schools, and attend medical appointments with parents. We offer general support and a shoulder to lean on in times of difficulty. We are available 24/7 via our helpline, and we can if required visit you at home. This option is only available to parents of children who live in the borough that we work in (Trafford, Manchester).
Please look through our site and if we can help you then please don’t hesitate to give us a call. Our telephone number is 0161 755 3482.
We have been helping families with additional needs for over 16 years. We have a valuable bank of volunteers many of whom have their own families with additional needs. Because of this we can usually put you in touch with another parent who can help you and understand your difficulty.
